Adventure. Excitement. A Jedi craves not these things.

So far today, I have not done much of anything that is on the list of things to do today. I did not help Jackie the Mick wrangle cattle, because I had planned on working on the new work/storage room. The new work/storage room is filled with other people’s belongings that I cannot sort or get rid of without said people. And the air conditioner is not going to be moved because it will be replaced very soon, so there is no point in moving it twice. I did, however, take a few photographs. I also went shopping in the clearance racks of at least 8 major retail chains’ stores with my sister. We also stopped and ate at the Silk Road. The Silk Road is a relatively new Indian/Mediterranean restaurant in town. We shared the appetizer sampler. For about 16 bucks we filled ourselves to the brim with hummus, baba ganouj, vegetable sambosa (my favorite), vegetable pakawra, and dolmathakia. All were served with a spicy cilantro chutney and a yogurt cilantro chutney and sopped up with fresh made naan. It was like Heaven in my mouth. Before all of this bargain hunting and exotic cuisine adventure, I did manage to work in the garden a little. I pulled up the onions, which had started to flower, and picked plums, which Little Peddler is supposed to be making into jam as we speak. Currently, I am updating you on my totally lame life and about to go read the rest of Usher, then hopefully start Silent Bob Speaks and await Pancake Land’s return. We, or maybe just I, will possibly be attending the Clampits at the cashino in Roland tonight. Now, off to poetry. ~SC
