You can live on it, but it tastes like sh*t.

Well, I went to the Student Clinic at the school yesterday, and they informed me that I have an upper respiratory infection that is viral and the only thing that I can do is suck it up. They did not say that in so many words, but I am pretty good at deciphering that message from passive signals. As far as everything else that they told me, I had already stated most of it in a post Sunday. I pay for the clinic, whether or not I use it, with my tuition. And I could be HIVed (rhymes with gift) up or have the H1N1 (pronounced HENNY) flu or the Red Death or the Black Plague. Better safe than sorry, I guess.

The good news is that I am feeling better today. I started to regain my appetite last night and was able to consume something that was not a Wyler’s Chicken Cube. All of you who know anything about me, know that the worst possible side-effect of a sickness or medication for me is loss of appetite. Just take away all of my will to live why don’tcha?!

As far as stress goes, I am climbing back off of the ledge, but I am not all the way down quite yet. Work is going smoothly for a change. Which is a well needed balance to the craziness of school.

Speaking of work, Le Duke is summoning me to get off my ass. More soon. ~SC
