I do not think that I have ever had such a terrible semester. I will be lucky if I get an “A” in any of my three classes. The problem is that I am being pulled in a lot of different directions. Some of which I have written about and some of which I have eluded to. Regardless of the way by which I presented them to you, they are, in reality, demanding my time and attention. Time and attention that would normally be spent working on classwork. I’m not too worried about it. They say “C’s” get degrees and “B’s” get scholarships. So, I’ll be fine. Plus my scholarship runs out in the Spring anyway.

I took Monday off to catch up on stuff that I would have normally done on the weekend. Since I had no weekend to speak of, I needed to take a little break and pay bills, buy groceries, snuggle with Pancake Land. You know, normal weekend stuff. Unfortunately, I have to go back to work today. Not that I had yesterday off or that my job is particularly difficult, but still I am officially back at work today. Ugh…

Yesterday La Duchess and I spent some time trying to separate Bee’s wax and honey. It still is not separate. The trick is to heat it up to about 90°F. The honey will flow, but the wax will stay solid. If you heat it up too much, the wax will melt and then the honey will denature. Great. I’ll figure something out. Here’s a little something to go with all this honey talk.

Itsa Bee, Mario.

Itsa Bee, Mario.

Well, remember that thing that I said I had to do today? I had better get to it. More soon. ~SC
