If this is any indication of how the rest of the day is going to go, I’m going back to bed.
My darling wonderful dogs decided that instead of going into the fenced yard, they were going to chase Le Duke’s cat, Isis, all around the property and try desperately to kill it. After a good solid adrenalin filled fight between me and the dogs to save the cat, and a white chocolate and macadamia nut cookie later, I am still shaking and on the edge of kill mode. Coffee is not helping to calm my nerves. I am seriously considering following through with my usual joke of having them euthanized and then taxidermied. They would be so well behaved then.
By some bizarro universal coincidence, Teacher Sis and I both decided, independently of one another, to eat the Buffalo Chicken sandwich at Subway yesterday. We agreed that it is delicious. It has a lot to do with that twang that it has. Banana peppers added a little twang of their own, but Teacher Sis had hers without banana peppers. I also realized that it was a $5 footlong and was able to enjoy it for both second breakfast and first lunch, whereas she, unaware of the underlying and poorly advertised bargain, had the six inch version. Since she is all about math these days, you could say that I enjoyed mine twice as much as she enjoyed hers. (Given that time is a constant, if you had a large enough sample you could do a Poisson distribution of the enjoyment of the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. I’m just saying, if you are so inclined to do stuff like that.)
I am sort of delirious now. The parasympathetic response has kicked in and I am very mellow. I should probably go and try to find the cat to ensure that it is okay. After that, school and more wholesale order. More soon. ~SC
