Dry Mouth At The Whistlers Tournament.

I finally made it to the weekend. After taking four days off last weekend, this four days on kicked my butt.

Last night, we didn’t really do anything except wrangle kittens and watch a documentary about people who whistle called Pucker Up. It was pretty interesting. I mean I love to whistle and all, but these people are all about it.

Today is kinda cold and cloudy, so inside work is in order. The only thing that I need to leave the house for is my cooking class at Cara’s. I was the only one that signed up for the 10 o’clock class, so I got bumped up to the 1 o’clock class. I guess I am the only one who wanted to get into the kitchen first thing on a Saturday morning. Not that I blame them. Saturday is the day for sleeping in. And Sunday. Don’t forget Sunday. I guess maybe since tomorrow is Easter, people are going to be less likely to sleep in because of Holiday obligations with family and giant bunnies and the resurrected Jesus. Jesus gets up early on Easter and so should you.

But, alas, I digress as always. Cooking class. I am excited about this. The class is called “Pastas and Pestos”. Mostly I think we will focusing on two kinds of pesto and making pasta sauces. But, according to Cara, we are going to be “flying by the seat of our pants” in the class, so there is no telling what is going happen. I’ll try to take pictures, that is, if my hands aren’t too busy making pesto. (insert image of one finger pressing the “on” button of a food processor) Either way, I’ll let you know how it goes in tomorrow’s post.

Anyways, I am also using this relatively inside oriented weekend to work on making some buttons that I promised Little Peddler. She wanted a handful of buttons as give away items at her chicken show that is coming up and I said that I would donate them to her club. She is giving me some free advertising via the show, so it turns out to be a win-win situation.

I also need to work on this week’s article. I am excited about this one. Expect good things. I still need to do a little research for it, though. I will probably need to eat there a few more times before I can really write the article though. Maybe dinner tonight? Hmmm…. food for thought. Hahaha. I don’t even crack a smile when I do that anymore. That’s how good I am.

Well, I’m go do some innernet research on food and the cooking of said food. More soon. ~SC
