Press here.

So, yesterday, after having a terrible start to my day, I discovered something very interesting about myself. I love Foreigner. You see, what had happened was…

A few weeks ago Zaxxon called to ask me a favor. He wanted to send his iPod to me and have me fill it with music for him. I told him no problem. He says it’s been acting weird and asked if I can figure out why it is being like that. Once again, no problem. So, he sends me the thing and I get it Monday. I spend Monday night filling it up with tunes and decide to let it charge all night and run it through the gauntlet of my work day on Tuesday to try and diagnose a problem. So, after my terrible morning, I plug the headphones in and decide to take out a little of my frustration by torturing his iPod with a variety of strenuous tasks. Turns out, the thing just needed to be charged, because it performed beautifully. Here’s the ironic part. I had put Foreigner’s Greatest Hits on his iPod as a little joke. So, in the midst of the craziness yesterday I decided to just crank up the volume and listen to Foreigner. That’s when it hit me. I love Foreigner.

That revelation, of course reminded me of Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Something about a Foreigner belt buckle. It is kind of a fuzzy memory. The days of watching ATHF were also the days of drinking heavily. Wait, I think I found a photo:

Totally badass.

I want it.

So, last night when I returned home, after having my tank refilled with rockin’, I discovered Pancake Land sitting in the floor constructing, what I would later refer to as, the Kitten Shanty Town out of Priority Mail boxes. It started out innocent enough. All she was going to do was assemble one box for them to play in. Then she thought that one box was boring, so she taped two together. It digressed from there. She warned me that it will probably grow even larger today. Here is yesterday’s progress:

They are all about it.

Anyways, that was yesterday. Today is, well, today. If the weather holds out and doesn’t torrentially rain on us, we are supposed to be framing a room addition on house out in the sticks. If the rain comes, then I am stuck in the office all day working on the mailing list. Goodie.

Anyways, I need to go get ready for work. We are going back to audiobooks today. Maybe Wicked or Up Till Now, we’ll see. Anywho, bamf! More soon. ~SC
