Who put this kitten here?

I can only assume the my brow was the beginning or ending point of a kitten’s 5 meter dash. I base this on the dried blood I found there when I got up this morning. Pancake Land tells me that sometimes I talk to Eazy while I am asleep and that I pick him up and move him around on the bed. I have no recollection of these things. If I stopped and actually thought about this, it would probably terrify me. The thought of doing things that your conscious mind has no control over and no memory of. It is a good thing that I am not stopping to think about it.

It is Monday. Wah wah waaaaahhhh. The good news is that there is a new SModcast today. It think it is a home recording again. Thank goodness. It is not that I don’t enjoy the live shows, its just that I like the studio recordings better. Maybe the fact that rather than move three feet and check their facts on Google or Wikipedia, they just wallow in their imagined facts. Ah, Helen Keller. Anyway, in the live shows, they always just ask the audience what’s the what. Granted, sometimes they just run with it and then ask the audience if they are correct, but usually they ask first.

We might also be getting a new (to us) truck today. Big Red is and always has been, shall we say, unreliable in the running properly department. Pancake Land had gone Saturday to look at trucks, and she and White Chocolate made a day of test driving cars and trucks. P.L. finally found one that she liked and then waited around half the day for the guy to get all of the financing paperwork together. Come five o’clock he wanted to leave, so it all got pushed back until today. P.L. says that if he tries anything funny, that is to say, anything funnier than try to stall her into a 9% interest rate, then she is going to look elsewhere for a truck. Now that she knows what she wants, she can easily go somewhere else and get it. I’ll let you know what happens.

I have no idea what I am doing at work today. Maybe packing up pots for the upcoming Baltimore show. Maybe glazing pots for the upcoming kiln firing. Maybe laying bamboo flooring in the new house. Maybe sitting around and drinking English tea. Who knows? Not me.

Well, I’m going to go look at a few things and think about a few things before triking to work. More soon. ~SC
