Cloudy With A Chance Of Hurricane.

So, have you noticed that it only rains here Tuesday through Thursday? The days that I have classes? Well, I sure as Hell have. Because I ride my trike. I made the mistake of trying to drive Ava over there last week. Bad idea. The influx of new students has filled every parking to the brim. I had to park over by the baseball fields and hike through the rain to class. I should have just ridden the trike.

Hopefully the rain will hold off until I get to school. If I am in the Math/Science building, I can deal with rain. I have this sensation of totally being lost in my classes. It’s not that I am not grasping the information, it just feels like I’m supposed to be doing stuff outside of class that I don’t know about and therefore am not doing. Perhaps it is because my classes are both moving relatively slowly to start out. Maybe it is because I missed the first two days of class and I actually am not doing something that is vital to my passing the course. Maybe, I’ll go talk to my professors.

Anyway, I must have been tired last night. I slept quite thoroughly all night. I didn’t wake up once. Not when Pancake Land came to bed. Not when kittens jumped on me. Nothing. I woke up when the radio bumpkins started singing songs about bras or something, but until then, I was very unconscious. Or maybe I was subconscious. Whatever I was, I was not awake. School is for losers. Well, I guess if I wasn’t getting up to go to school, I’d still be getting up to go to work. Being a grown up is stupid.

I wish I had some fantastic story to tell you, but I don’t. So, I’m going to school to do Science and Math. More soon. ~SC

When trying to understand the slowness of the beginning of the semester, remember the frenetic pace at the end when the professors all realize they are running out of time and should have been moving along faster since…well…now.
