The Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame announced that Tom Waits has been nominated for induction. Finally. I was thinking about that the other day. The guy has got almost 40 years in the music business and he’s not in the Hall of Fame. Anyway, now he is nominated. Awesome. To read more about this, click here. And for good measure, here’s a photo of my friend Tom:

So, Operation B scored me a disc with all of his X-rays on it. You know, the X-rays of his leg that I broke. Anyway, I get the disc, I’m very excited, and the stupid thing has Windows software on it. Apparently, the X-rays are taken using a piece of software and you have to use that software to read the images. The software won’t run on my Mac. Jerks. I’m in the process of finding an image viewer for Mac, so that I can capture the images and put them on here. Won’t that be fun?

I got my Zoology test back yesterday. Or, rather, I went by my Professor’s office and he gave me my grade. He never actually presented me with my test, he just read to me off of a print out. I thought I had done all right on it. Maybe 85-89%. A high “B”. Guess what I got. 92%. Booyah. I’m not sure if he graded on a curve or not, but either way I ended up rocking it. Let’s just hope that I can keep that up.

I started my Letterpress “job” yesterday. I just spent 4 hours transferring 8 cases of type from the cases that the type were in, into empty cases. It’s a long story and I don’t want to tell it again. Just know that there was a shitload of tiny, sharp, lead letters that had to be moved by hand. It was tedious, monotonous, mind-numbing work. I loved it. Luckily for me, Babbylon Tim came by and helped me out of the kindness of his heart. Otherwise, it would have taken me forever to transfer all of that type.

Well, it is now time for me to try and get rid of my foster kittens again. They just keep coming back. Anyways, more soon. ~SC
