Father Frank Dowling is Dead. R.I.P. Tom Bosley 1927-2010

Between the Hillbilly radio DJs guffawing about Justice Thomas having a pubic hair in his Coke (could not determine whether they were talking about cola or narcotics) and the NPR fund drive this morning, I am ready to put my girlie ear phones on and ignore everyone. I don’t know what I want to listen to today. Leaning toward Metal right now. Monday I spent the day listening to the Katamari Damacy soundtrack and the three most recent Weird Al Yankovic records. It was a “White and Nerdy” kind of day. I haven’t determined what today is yet. Not awake enough.

Yesterday, I learned about Phylum Tardigrada, aka the Water Bears. These tiny little guys are super cute. And apparently they are one, if not the most, resilient creatures on the planet. Wanna see one? Okay.

What did I tell you? Super cute. Most of them are benthic and just crawl around on the substrate of lakes and ponds, but some actually swim. I tried to find a video of them swimming, but most of the videos were bad quality, so I could not do that to you. Let me just tell you, they are even cuter swimming.

Anyway, today is work at the studio and then off to Zoology lab to look at more arthropods. Tonight is fish stick and mac-n-cheese night at my house. Awesome. If I wanted to kill my fish stick high, I could think about all of that Trig homework I have to do. Nah. More soon. ~SC
