I Forgot, Forgot.

You know what I didn’t remember, remember? The 5th of November. I just hope that all of you safely avoided Parliament yesterday.

I saw this a few days ago and couldn’t help but post it.

So creepy.

This post is going to be a photo-heavy post. Wanna know why? Because I got Paintbrush the other day in order to make a version of the Math puzzle that we did in my Trig class. I wanted to share the puzzle with all of you and then of course I had to do a little drawing for fun. Anyway, here’s the Math puzzle:

Okay, here’s the deal. You have to connect the boxes labeled with a number with their corresponding numbered box (1 connected to 1, and 2 to 2, and 3 to 3) using one line for each number (you will have a total of three lines). The lines cannot intersect each other and they have to stay within the perimeter of the large rectangle. I’ll post a solution tomorrow, so give it a try. And, just for the record, Pancake Land solved it in less than a minute without having to draw a single line.

I blame her boosted ego at having solved the Math riddle so quickly, but Pancake Land walked around all night singing songs about stuff in the house. It was like she was in her own Disney animated musical. I was especially fond of the song about me cleaning out the litter box. It went something like “Shoveling poop is fun for all…”.

After posting the stuff about asymptotes yesterday, Andi the Numbers sent me an email telling me the story of how she had to stop taking higher level Math courses because she could feel herself losing her footing in the “When am I Going to Ever Need This?” camp and quickly becoming a member of the “You Will Use Math to Do Everything” army. Her downfall was a simple traffic sign. She had seen them her whole life and never noticed that it was an asymptote. Now she can’t see it as anything but. Do want to be cursed for life as well? Okay, then.

Cursed. I told her that I can now add that to the list of traffic signs that I see differently than they are. The other is the Rev. Dark Wombat’s fault. The “Merging Traffic” sign is now the “Well-Hung Chinaman” sign.

Bastards. Anyway, I’ve actually got to work for Le Duke again today. I am taking next Wednesday off for a dentist appointment/frog dissection and I need to get a bunch of stuff done (make some money to pay bills), so I’m working today. Glazathon! Anyways, I’m off to work. I’ll leave you with one of my Paintbrush drawings to get you through the rest of the day:

More soon. ~SC
