It is only a matter of time before they combine the plots of Flashdance and Backdraft. Consider this my warning. When it happens, I am going to say “I told you so.”

Yesterday was a pretty Metal day. By that, I mean I listened to Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and And Justice for All all day. It turns out that I only have “Motorbreath” off of Kill ‘Em All. That’s weird. I mean, it’s cool that I have my favorite song from the album, but it is strange that I don’t have the rest of the album.

Today, is going to be a not so Metal day. I am doing the first of what will probably be many trials runs of the new “me comp”. I’ll be spending most of the day in the studio again. Making mugs. Trimming mugs. Making more mugs. Maybe glazing. I have the week off from the Letterpress shop and I’m taking that time off to get caught up-slash-ahead in the pottery studio. We promised everyone a firing before Christmas, so now we have to give them one. Great.

It’s Kingston. He wants to sit in my lap and make typing difficult for me. Hold on whilst I pick him up…

What have you got all over you, Mister? Ow. That would be electricity. And dried snot. Kingston, you are so gross. If you weren’t so friggin’ cute, you’d have very little going for you. Snotty, drippy eyed, electrically charged, just gross. Did you just fart? Seriously?! That’s just messed up. Off you go. I’ve got work to do.

Ugh… that smells terrible.
