Hey everybody. It’s Friday again! That means my new article is up on the City Wire. You can read it by clicking here: robô do ataque! Hey, there’s only a week left until Grismas! Remember, I have a wish list designed for procrastinators like you. Dave, would like me to also point out that he too has a wish list and would really love the books of Russian Prison Tattoos. GRISMAS!
Speaking of the City Wire and Grismas, today is our X-mas party. We’re not supposed to bring anything, which I feel weird about, and it goes from 4-7pm. I can’t help but feel a little nervous. It dawned on me a few days ago, that the only person who I have any kind of relationship with, at the City Wire, is Mike Tango (my boss). I don’t know anybody else there. I mean, I met T.K. when they hired me, but I don’t know anybody else. Well, that’s not entirely true. I do know a writer who does occasional pieces for the City Wire. And that would be Riflin’ Roy. I know him because he was my American Lit professor. It is weird to have your instructor as a colleague. In all actuality, I really enjoyed the Lit class, so Riflin’ Roy and I get along pretty well. Let’s just hope that he’s there. I know now that I am going to have to talk to strangers. Dammit. Well, a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.
It is cold and dark out this morning. What little bit of sky is lit up this morning, is lit up red. And believe me, this sailor took warning. I heard it was supposed to rain a bunch this weekend. Goody. It has been relatively pleasant the past few days, why must it get gross again?
I really need a vacation. I don’t know if anybody took me seriously yesterday. We’re really going on vacation. I’m not just crying wolf for fun. There’s a wolf and he’s a-comin’ and his name is Los Burritos Grandes.
I found this last night and I was mesmerized. I couldn’t stop watching it. I was so intrigued by how nerdy this is, that I had to subscribe to the channel on Youtube. Math is fun!
It also helps that she makes reference to tons of other nerdy things while she rambles on about Math. Snakes on a Plane, Legend of Zelda, XKCD, and so on. If you enjoyed this one, the others are great as well. The video about eating candy buttons is a good one.
Well, I somehow just used all of my allotted time watching Math videos again, so I’ve got to go to work. Happy Friday. More soon. ~SC
