Good morning everybody. Well, today is the big day. Double finals and the Letterpress Shop open house. I have a cat laying on my hands, so forgive me if there are errors. I’ll try to proof them out.

Screw all this school stuff. We’ve something really important going on in the world today. I think it is something that we should all be aware of and, when given the opportunity, take action about. I, of course, am talking about the 2 part film adaptation of The Hobbit. They just announced a bunch of stuff about it yesterday (I think?). Anyway, since the film would have been a total sausage party, because the book is a total sausage party, they’ve written in a part for Galadriel (Cate Blanchett). They also added “Gandalf’s Wizarding friend” Radagast the Brown, from somewhere else in the Tolkienian world, into the flick as well. None of that is important. What is important is that they’ve announced who is playing Beorn. (Insert metal scream, guitar solo, and lightning striking here.) Beorn is one of my favorite characters in all of the books. Granted, he’s no Tom Bombadil, but he’s a close second. Anyway, this guy is playing Beorn:

Anyways, that’s all I’ve got this morning. If you can make it by the Open House, you should come. I’ll be there printing broadsides and making paper hats. See you there. I’ve gotta run. Wish me luck (and coffee). More soon. ~SC
