Hello, there. The cats are totally batshit crazy this morning. It is going to take me a while to get this written because I have to stop every few seconds to remove a cat from my desk or the adjacent area. Jeezus. Calm down already. Aren’t you supposed to be lying around and looking down your nose at the rest of the world?
So, I got some exciting news yesterday. Remember the Rude Boys photos? Well, I had sent them this website called Young Me/Now Me a while back. Their weblog is making a book of the best sets of photos and there was some talk about the possibility of our photos being published in the book. Well, guess what. We made the cut. We are being published! All we have to do is get a handful of release forms signed by me, Zaxxon, and Kribbsy and we’re set. The best part is that because Kribbsy and I took the photos, we get a copy of the book as compensation for our agreeing to “let them use our photos”. I need to to figure out how to get a copy for Zaxxon since doesn’t get a freebie copy, but that is not a big deal. I’ll keep you posted as this thing evolves further.
Oh, I finally got the weird Spanish dubbed version of Karate Kid uploaded. Are you ready for your head to explode? Okay, then. Good luck with that:
Isn’t scary and awesome? Yeah, I like it. Speaking of videos that are pretty sweet, I saw this trailer yesterday and I just have to share it with you:
I like it when people get to talk to animals. Like Dr. Doolittle.
Well, today is a day of getting my bearings. And studying microbiology. I also told G-Man that I’d come over and shave his head before anymore of his hair falls out. Maybe a trip to Target City with Teacher Sis to hit the clearance section. You know, stuff to center me back in my Universe rather than the Universe of the beach.
I did a little Zen exercise last night by un-pie-ing that type I got from K. That’s right. I spent my Friday night sorting through a pile of metal type. It was very relaxing. And I paid the bills. That wasn’t so relaxing. Anyway, I’ve got to empty all of the sand out of my suitcase and head over to G-Man’s for the head shaving. Have a great day. More soon. ~SC
