Sometimes, I get SPAM comments and I can’t help but smile when I read them. I mean, you get the gist of what they are trying to say, but it is still nonsense. For example, I got this one this morning:

“I’m a 19 year getting on in years schoolgirl growing to Uconn (as a commuter). I have a share time pursuit and forge here 400 every two weeks. I deliver been there for 7 months once in a while and I am in despondent need of a car. (my responsibility, my council, my school are about 25 min away from each other either way) I after to rile a car accommodation but from no established credit. I do enjoy 1000 dollars to set aside down though. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Because of you.”

No, because of you. I don’t know, maybe I’m weird, but I enjoy some of the SPAM. A long time ago, Shamrock had a project called “SPAM Poetry” where he collected the randomly generated emails that people get on a daily basis. Some of them where priceless. Anyways, enough about SPAM.

Yesterday, I had breakfast with Teacher Sis and after we ate, we strolled around trying to walk off some of the ridiculously heavy and delicious food we just ate. As we were walking, I saw this:

That sounds about right.

After we walked for a while, we went our separate ways in order to prepare for G-Man’s impromptu birthday gig. It was a very low key event, but T.S. wanted to make him a cake, so she made this Black Forest Cake from scratch (whipped cream and all):

In addition to the cake, there were white chocolate macadamia cookies, loads of deviled eggs, chips and dips, and a couple of huge sandwiches. We rounded the night out with a very long game of Munchkin. Pancake Land was fuming because she was robbed of her victory by us failing to read the rules properly, but it was already too late, for Little Miss Cotton had already won via Divine Intervention.

Oooh! Dave just sent me a note saying that Tom Waits announced that he is in the studio recording his new album. So nice. That’s a great way to start my Monday. On that note, I’m going to work. Have a wonderful day. More soon. ~SC
