Today is the day. The day for eating little crustaceans boiled alive in spices. And the sky is darkening in preparation for the slaughter. Sorry. I’ve been watching the official trailer for Deathly Hallows Part 2 over and over again and I’m very poetic and dark right now. Just so that you can keep up with me, here:

Doesn’t it just make your insides all jittery? It does mine. It is true what the They say about about converts being more fervent than the original followers. I guess that is why so many people bought into the AASC back in the day. What we founders saw as an inside joke, other people saw as a cause, as an organization that was fighting the Man. Whatever the case may be, I’m excited. I need to borrow the other 7 movies from Teacher Sis in order to get refreshed and caught back up. Unfortunately, she is at Memphis In May this weekend. Well, there’s always next weekend. I just have to do it before July 15th.

Now that I think about it, next weekend would be better anyway. This final exam week, and what better way to reward myself than to take a weekend trip to Hogwarts? You have no idea how tempted I have been to reread the whole series. I’m addicted.

Moving on.

Yesterday, I accomplished a bunch of stuff and none of it was work related. I got up, made the post, bought the stuff for my secret dish, took the kittens to the Humane Society, and headed off for work. And for the next six hours I tried to figure out why I had so offended the air compressor gods. By the time I had tried two different compressors, researched buying a new one, and bought said new one, it was 4 o’clock. I just gave up at that point. Why all the fuss over an air compressor? Because the air compressor powers the nail gun that attaches the bamboo planks to the subfloor.

No Air = No Power = No Bamboo Flooring

So at that point, Operation B and I came back to Holliday Island and prepared my secret dish, which is now cooling its heels in the fridge. I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.

But, the time has come for the typing to end and the helping of Little Miss Cotton with her scooter to begin. I’ll leave you with two things that La Duchess sent me and I thought you might enjoy. Number one is beards. And number two is kitties:

Well, enjoy the rest of your day. I know I will. More soon. ~SC
