Wait, Where’d That River Come From?

I just looked at the forecast for today. I love how today’s forecast says “pm Thunderstorms” but when I look at the hourly forecast it says it is going to thunderstorm all day. Jerks. They really have no idea what’s going on. I’ll tell you one thing, it’s raining a lot lately. It rained so much yesterday, that while I was in the house getting a light bulb, a great river formed in between the two houses. I literally walked back to the new house and could not get to it because there was a deep, fast moving, twelve foot wide, body of water in my way. Taco Planet was on the other side. There was nothing we could do about it. So we just stood there and admired it. A few minutes went by and it died down enough for Taco Planet to lower a ladder across it, so that I could get back to work. I had no idea that we were going to have to install a drawbridge over at the new house. Now I know. I can’t really explain how freaky and jarring it is to walk outside and POOF! there’s a river in your yard.
On a much less weird and a much much happier note, G-Man finally got out of the hospital last night. Hooray! He is still going to be on antibiotics for a while to continue fighting the pneumonia, but his doc says that he is well enough to go back to his own bed.
Tonight, after my tutoring session, I have got to got to got to write this week’s article. I’ve been procrastinating on it. I’ve done everything else that was on my list, but not that. Last night, I finished my lab assignment and watched this: Makin’ With The Freak Freak. A big thank you to Dave for sending me that. It is was friggin’ brilliant.
Well, I’ve got to go get the wagons ready for crossing more rivers. I just hope no one dies of dysentery. Ah, Oregon Trail. Anywho, have a great day. More soon. ~SC

Miss you silly man
On a more admirable note, alike I at a later hour that day, it should be mentioning that SC crossed said mote on an aluminum ladder. We are idiots.
