Let’s Get Physical.

The time has come. School is back in session. Recess is over and it is back to class we go. That just means that I am up way too early this morning. I’m trying to get as much coffee into my system as possible to wake me up before class. I literally have Physics lecture and lab back to back for 4 hours, 4 days a week, for the next 4 weeks. Roughly translated, that means that one day’s classwork is the same as a full week’s worth during fall or spring semester. Holy shit.

Yesterday was a day of work. I got a good deal of the bamboo flooring laid in the bedroom of the mother-in-law suite. I’m about one third of the way through the room. It took me a while to get moving because of all of the cutting that had to be done. Once that was finished it was back to straight forward laying and I moved pretty quickly. I am dreading working on it today, tomorrow, and Thursday. It is going to be so friggin’ hot in there by the time I get out of class. Friday, my plan is to work on the floor in the upstairs room because I can start first thing before it gets really scary hot.

After work yesterday, we headed over to Little Peddler’s for some cooking out. We all scrounged stuff together and pieced together a pretty good meal. After the eating was done, and we were all successfully exhausted from gorging ourselves, it was time for dress-up using the newly acquired clearance costumes. Things got silly. There was a sexy Joker, a jailbird, Raggedy Ann and Andy, a gypsy, a southern belle, a gangster, an angry bear, and a slut. Dave tried his hand at being the Glamma Witch:

Pancake Land really gets into character when she puts a costume on.

The whole scene was ridiculous. Imagine six grown ups sitting on the front porch of a house dressed in costumes in May. Yeah. Ridiculous.

Anywho, it is time for me to get ready to go. Wish me luck. More soon. ~SC
