Frozen Innernet Buttholes.

Has anyone else noticed that it just decided to be balls cold? It was something like 25°C (77°F) one day last week. I.e. warm enough to not wear five layers of clothing. Now, not so much. I think the cold weather has sent the innernet into hibernation. Is it just mine or has the everyone else’s innernet been really slow lately, too?

Last night was a weird one. I went to bed at a very reasonable hour, around 10:15pm but could not for the life of me get to sleep. The last time I looked at my watch it read 12:20am. So despite my bumpy start, I slept like a rock. And here’s the weird part, I woke up to my alarm. Eyes open, alert, woken up. It was so incredibly lame. It is 5:45am, I am comfortable and warm in my snuggly down comforter, and I have a small group of the most irritating bumpkins guffawing out of my clock radio that is hidden somewhere under the bed. It is hidden so that I have to get up to find it. Do I risk the frigid air of the bedroom to silence them for a mere ten minutes more of attempted sleep? Once they start singing about “tah-tahs” and silver bullet beer. (Both of these things have a time and a place, neither of which is in my bedroom this morning.) The answer is clear. I would dive to the bottom of a frozen sea and punch the Kraken’s mother in her vagina to silence them this morning.

Yesterday was a successful sit on my butt day. I watched a fair bit of television. Then, I got off of my lazy duff and went to get stuff done. I made up this week’s menu and headed over to Lippincottonia to borrow the car so that I could get groceries. While I was there, I started working on a few Grismas presnents. Groceries acquired, Grismas presnents begun, I headed back home to clean up my article for resubmission and put together an invoice. I warmed up the last of the turkey day leftovers for dinner and we’re back to Star Trek. All throughout my television watching Eazy snuggled with me (my lap) so I thought that Kingston was in need of some attention, so we played a couple of rounds of Connect 4. He won the majority of the games due to my rustiness at this particular game. Don’t worry, I’ll get my revenge when we play Battleship. That is if I can keep him from trying to eat the pegs.

Today is Monday. And in Lippincottonia, we work on Monday. Today we will be finishing up the kiln loading and probably doing a firing. After that, I’ll be starting to disassemble the gallery for the upcoming double craft show weekend that begins later this week. Le Duke leaves Thursday and I leave Friday, so we’ve got to have everything sorted and packed before I leave work Wednesday afternoon. I have my work cut out for me.

That said, I’d better get to it. Have a great week. More soon. ~SC
