Dripping With The Warmth Of Murder.

Yesterday was a hectic day. It felt good to be busy again. So many plates to keep spinning. It was nice. It culminated with me trying to get grilled cheese (havarti and pepper jack) with fried bologna and bacon (on potato bread) sandwiches made before we played Pathfinder. The best part of that whole sandwich making experience was me going up to the deli and asking the girl behind the counter:

SC: What’s the thickest you can slice something?

Deli Girl: 24.

SC: Inches?!

DG: Yeah.

SC: Um…okay, I don’t need that thick. What is normally considered “thick cut”?

DG: (showing me a chart of thicknesses) Number 10 is normal thick.

SC: Does your slicer go to 11?

pause

DG: (smiling) It does go to 11.

SC: Well, then let’s make it go to 11.

So my bologna was super thick cut while simultaneously being a Spinal Tap reference. Awesome. And the sandwiches were awesome if you couldn’t guess.

And then we tried playing Pathfinder with Little Miss Cotton via Skype. It kept cutting out, so we didn’t get a lot accomplished. Then, Sweetbread and Baby Carrots showed up at some point. It was chaos. The perfect end to yesterday. Oh, and there was this:

I slept in today because I’m a grown ass man who can do whatever he likes. And I was tired. I think Oxi wants to move the rest of her stuff today, so I’ll be doing that this afternoon. And maybe a nap before Pathfinder tonight. Bologna sandwiches…

More soon. ~SC
