I did nothing of note yesterday.

I mean, sure I could talk about eating tacos and lying around, but who wants to read about that? If you actually want to read about that, see the previous 1,000+ posts. Actually, there is one thing of interest that happened yesterday. While the Rev. Dark Wombat and I were at dinner with one of our new Japanese friends, our friend broke her sunglasses. So, we swung by here so that I could fix them. New person in the house, you know the drill:

What Pear of Truth?

Anywho, today is Monday. I’ve got a meeting this morning. And probably a meeting everyday this week. Except for Friday. Friday is the day that I leave for my adventure. Since just saying that I’m going on an adventure is a bit vague for some of you loyal readers out there, I’ll expound. Teacher Sis, and friend of hers, and I are heading to New Orleans Friday morning. I’ll spend a few days there with Dave and Little Miss Cotton, and then head to St. John to see what all the fuss is about. I’ll be gone about a week total. That is a week of note taking and no posts. So, gird your loins for not having me in your daily routine.

I’ve got to get a memory card for the adventure camera and make sure I pack plenty of extra lead for the mechanical pencil, so that my adventure documentation is adequate for making a mega post once I return. I’ll be travelling light, so getting ahold of me will be limited to my phone. That means phone calls, kids. I know that that has become a foreign concept to some of you, but that’s how it is going to be while I’m gone. No emails. No “text messages”. Hell, odds are I probably won’t answer my phone anyway. So, don’t bug me.

Well, I’ve got affairs to get in order before I leave the planet. That starts with me taking a shower before my meeting. Have a great week. More soon. ~SC
