Because bad things happen when you do.

Morning kids. Who managed to procrastinate on doing his homework all of Spring Break and is ill prepared for classes resuming today? This guy. I think it’ll be okay, though. I’m pretty good at bullshitting my way through life. It’s worked pretty well thus far, anyway.

Today we begin roleplaying the trial of Galileo. I hope I get to be the Pope. With my luck I’ll end up being one of the Plebeian chorus. Always a chorus member, never the leading lady. I don’t think anyone actually gets to be Galileo, though. Mostly we are defense and prosecution. And the Pope. My professor made a joke about making one of the female members of the class the Pope, just to mix things up. Nice.

So, we are going to need a little soundtrack for this adventure. I heard this yesterday and thought it sounded adventurous, so let’s go with that:

And just for the record, the new Garbage Pail Kids cards have come out. I bought a pack or two.

Complete set? Yep. With an almost complete set left over for Rosco the Furious Mick. Don’t worry Mr. Polite, there’ll be some for you as well.

Well, I’d love to stay and chat, but I’ve got a little preparing to do. Preparing that involves fishing in an 8-bit boat.
