And time consuming.

I’m warning you all now, I haven’t really slept. Between the not-falling-asleep and the waking-up-every-15-minutes-or-so-freezing/burning-up, it was with great sadness and disappointment that I arose from the bed to the sound of the Ventures playing “Lolita Ya-Ya”. Which may be one of the most irritating songs ever. I used to think it was quaint. Not any more. Here, I’ll let you decide:

Yesterday, I started digging through the derby photos that I took on Thursday, and then again on Saturday. 2747 photos in all. Jeezus. Because I am shooting in low light with fast moving targets, most of those photos are either totally dark or one big blur. Such is life. I still have to go through them. And for the first time ever, I am going to go into Photoshop and digitally enhance them. I don’t ever do that. I’m a “what you see is what you get” kinda dude. Unfortunately, some of these photos are pretty great, they just happen to be too dark. So, I have to brighten them up a bit. Which is lame.

Speaking of things being not-lame, the Rev. Dark Wombat sent me a video. It is about a group of guys having car trouble. I think.

And then, while watching that video, I found this one. I read the description before watching it and was immediately sold when I read the phrases “Pagan Metal mongers” and “the legends and traditions of their Russian homeland” in the same sentence.

Yeah. Russian folk metal.
