This Post Was Brought To You By Others.

Made by others. Received from others.

If you hadn’t figured it out, today’s post is going to be a bunch of the things collecting dust in my inbox, the stuff that people send me and I try to work it into a post. But… my inbox is filling up and I’m way too O.C.D. to tolerate that for long, so here it is. The stuff other people send me. (In no particular order.)

The Baroness Ida von Blitzenstein sent me a link to a guy who puts stuff in his beard.

Prince Jazzbo sent me a video of two guys playing “Thunderstruck” on cello:

Teacher Sis sent a kitten video so cute that it’ll cause your eyes to roll back into your head and make your spine slide out of your anus.

The Rev. Dark Wombat sent me a link to this guy’s thesis about how all Pixar movies take place in the same world on a specific timeline.

He also sent me a video of an ancient Chinese instrument that sounds exactly like the 8-bit synth used for the Super Mario Bros. soundtrack.

Everyone I have ever heard of has sent me something about this:

Yes, Taco Bell is introducing a breakfast menu. I know. It looks gross and delicious just like everything else they sell. Mmm… a.m. Crunchwrap…dipped in Fire Sauce…

Dave sent me a link to an online theremin. FYI if you set the waveform to triangle, it makes Sine waves (or something very similar). This one is a lot of fun to play with. Cut to three hours later…

K at Ars Brevis sent me a link to some really beautiful letterpress broadsides and postcards by Dead Feminists.

Andi the Numbers sent me a link about cookie chemistry (a branch of food chemistry).

And last, but definitely not least, is Taco Planet. Doing what Taco Planet does:

And that’s our show for today. I’m off to work on a Jeep with my robot squid still attached to my chest. Ugh.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
