And a good morning to you friend. Yesterday was a crazy day for me. Overall it was a successful birthday. I got some stuff. I got to hang out with some people. I shopped ’til I dropped. It was a good day.

The true highest points of the day were the beginning and end. I started the day with a communication between me and Rat Queens via Instagram. The communication in question concerned this Rat Queens D20 shirt:

I want one.

I ended the day with Ronnie James Dio liking one of my photos from beyond the grave. Also on Instagram. Yeah. I told you it was a crazy day.

Dead men tell no tales, but they can “like” a photo on Instagram.

Speaking of DIO, if you haven’t checked out the new tribute record to RJD, you really should. It is pretty awesome. It comes out Tuesday, but that hasn’t stopped the innernet. Tenacious D’s cover of “Last in Line” is amazing. You can hear the reverence and respect they had for DIO in their cover. It is as true to the original as they could possibly make it. Check it:

Also yesterday, West Brom and Cardiff had a crazy game that ended in a 3-3 draw. One point on each side being scored in the last minute of extra time. Madness.

Today is a day of catching up on things. Catching up on my stories. Catching up on laundry. Catching up on personal hygiene. Catching up on grocery shopping. Catching up on hammock time.
