I’d like to begin today by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Jack Kirby. Be sure to wish him one as well.

Yesterday was another day in Paradise. And by Paradise, I mean the Inferno that is Arkansas in August. Luckily I spent most of the day waiting around for stuff that didn’t happen. You know how much I love waiting around.

At some point, I gave up on actually getting stuff done and decided to make progress on something that I could actually control. And that was reading “Outlander”. I managed to get through 35+ pages before stopping to eat a lot of pizza. Slightly better than shitty pizza, I might add.

Since workouts are bumped to 8am for the foreseeable future, I get to skip it today in favor of resting my shoulder and doing the bank run for Jesus. After that, the gates of chaos open up and there is no telling what I’ll get up to. More than likely, I’ll end up reading again.
