Yesterday, I realized that my student will probably wind up making a best selling rap album. Thus promoting me to the status of Head Butler In Charge. I’ll have tailored tuxedos and a Tech 9 named “Techa Nina”. Medallions be swingin’.
That was a conversation I had with Dave. A conversation in which he told me about the newest Redcast by Don Chulius called “Africa is a Country”. I’ll be taking a small break from my Ska radio today in order to listen to that. You should make it a point to do so as well.
Later on yesterday, being totally unaware of my conversation with Dave, Taco Planet sent me this:
Which is the dope on dope. After watching all (Tech) nine minutes of that, I fell down the rabbit hole of Strange Music. Until I landed on Rittz, which is strangely back to my student being a rapper. Check it:
Part of me thinks it’s all an act. But either way, Tech N9ne’s got his back and the dude can rhyme, so props or whatever.
Yeah. Enough of that silliness.
Another fun thing happened yesterday. Fall Forest heard about the trapping of people in ice business that takes place over here at Holliday Island, so she made a special over to get trapped. And it was her birthday. What goes well with birthday cake? ICE cream:
That necklace is rockin’ it.
As for today, I’m doing the sweating a lot thing. I am hoping to get more work done on the studio as well.
Plans for this weekend? Nah. Ima wing it.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
