Preparing For the Montage.

The one where I listen to Chopin and do something really disturbing.

In the film that is my life.

It’s kinda how I always imagine a bloody film sequence, ala Quentin Tarantino, set to this:

That juxtaposition is so appealing for some reason. It’s like a sex scene set to this:

Ahem. Moving on.

Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of Chopin. And other classical piano pieces. It’s very soothing, but I keep waiting for something really weird or fucked up to happen while I’m listening to it. Because it is so tranquil.

Don’t believe me concerning its calming nature? Add a Chopin station on Pandora and call me after you wake up from your nap.

A little cello music creeps into the playlist from time to time, but it tends to get a little sad, so mostly I just stick to piano.

Or Hypersleep.

Yesterday was a day of chores. I did take a break to run to Target City with Teacher Sis. I scored some Decomposition Books on clearance. Which is just what I needed. More notebooks.

And Rudie napped on me whenever I sat down. All day.

Today is Monday. Dawn of the Snowpocalypse. Workout got cancelled. Work got cancelled. I slept in. It’s the end of the world as we know it. Until tomorrow. When it all melts and everything returns to normal.

I am debating watching movies all day in my hammock or going to my studio to print.

I’ll let you know tomorrow how that worked out for me.

See ya’ then.

More soon. ~SC
