Celebrate Good Times.

Come on.

And celebrate.

I’d like to begin by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Lauren Lately. Be sure to wish her one as well. And tell her to come get her beard. She’ll understand.

In addition to it being Double El’s birthday, it is also our birthday. That’s right, we here at Sandwich Control are 7 years old today. 7 years of putting up with our bullshit and you are still coming back for more. Suckers.

For what it’s worth, thanks for your continued support.

I painted a bunch more yesterday. See?

I made this for you.

I made this for you.

It was rainy and dark, so the lighting sucks. What ever. I painted. Until my hands hurt.

After painting, I picked up one of my students from school and took him home. As he got out of the truck we realized he sat on one of his chocolate caramel bars. You know the ones they sell as a school fundraiser? Yeah, one of those. Chocolate and caramel all ground into my seat. I couldn’t be mad at him, though. I was too busy laughing at him. It seriously looked like he’d shit his pants.

I also spent most of the day with a splitting headache.

To remedy this, I decided to watch a movie with my dinner. I watched “St. Vincent”. This movie:

It was so good. And Naomi Watts as a pregnant Russian prostitute, brilliant.

Needless to say, that didn’t help my headache. So, I opted to do my chores and go to bed. I put on a little Black Sabbath radio on Pandora to work to. I kid you not, first track to come on was this:

It’s appropriate, right? For a guy who spends most of his time alone. I thought it was funny. And it’s a good song. I also added Master of Reality on vinyl to my Wishlist. Just a little FYI there.

Okay, well, I’d love to stay and chat, but I’ve got loads to do. It being Thorsday and all.

Keep on reading this crap and I’ll keep on writing it.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC

  1. Dave says:

What you didn’t know was that the first track I chose for your next comp “Its Never too Late to be a Stoner”, was the song Solitude. Fitting, don’t ya think? Also, I’m just that good.
