A Long Day.

And a long night.

Yesterday was a long day.

Workout was extra brutal. Mainly because the Blacksmith wasn’t there to gives us encouragement. That, and all the manmakers.

Then, there was all the work. So many errands. And cleaning up the ranch in preparation for this weekend’s fundraiser concert. Yeah, I heard it in my head too.

I disassembled a grill.

I cut Taco Planet’s hair.

He paid me with a television.

Speaking of getting paid, it was payday, to boot.

And I ate at Hari’s new gyro restaurant. Imagine all that you love about the gyro truck, but more of it.

I ended the day with the discovery that a friend of mine, Danny Cody Carter, died nearly a month ago. And the funeral is this Friday. Nothing suspicious about that at all.

Regardless of the circumstances of his death, not the way I cared to end my day.

Today is one of my rest days. So, I ran 3 miles this morning. What? How do you spend your rest days?

After I finish this post, I’ve got to take a quick shower and then hit the ground running. So much to do before this weekend. So much water to buy.

With that, I’m off.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
