When streams are ripe and swelled with rain.

I’d like to wish a Happy Birthday to Zaxxon this morning. Be sure to do so as well.

Yesterday was exhausting.

Meetings. Appointments. Errands.

In and out of the heat. Took it’s toll on me.

So, I went inside and snuggled up to Morgan James.

So, then the rabbit hole took hold and led me to my favorite cover of my second favorite Simon and Garfunkel song…

There were a bunch of others, but then it got all weepy and reminded of hours spent alone with my Simon & Garfunkel cassettes as a kid. So, I stopped before I found my way to the Tori Amos’s cover of the Leonard Cohen song “Famous Blue Raincoat”. Fuck. Nobody ever needs to go that deep into the rabbit hole.

Today is another long day.

I’d better get to it.
