And shimmering googly eyes.

Oh, what a weekend.

Saturday was derby. I shot loads of photos. Most of which I haven’t even begun to dig through. But sometimes you catch somebody else’s flash at just the right moment and you get a really great shot…

It’s not a great shot because of the clarity or the action in it. It’s a great shot because it looks as though this gal’s seen a friggin’ ghost…

It’s moments like these that keep me photographing derby.

I also got my front room 99% put back together. I thoroughly enjoyed that last night as I was winding down my weekend.

Today is Monday. The beginning of a short but intense week. I have loads to do. Why loads to do? Why a short week? The loads to do is mostly prep work so that I can go to New Orleans for a handful of days. I’m going down to see Dave and Little Miss Cotton, to Run the Jewels, to paint, to bake, and to get some fresh ink on this here gunshow.

But first, I’ve got push-ups to do. Then the first Nerd Club meeting of the year. And then work.

Also, WBA (me) is playing Everton (Sweetbread) today. Boing Boing Baggies!
