In a Moment of Perfect Clarity.

Sandwich Control wielded the can of mis-tinted clearance paint with righteous fury.

Yesterday was exhausting.

It didn’t help that I started the day exhausted. I didn’t sleep very well. That, on top of a long week of exhausting, made me quite the grumpy and disorientated dude.

To make matters worse, I’ve had the technofear lately. It seems that every piece of technology around me is taking a great shit on life at the moment.

My computer just shuts down randomly. My phone doesn’t do it’s job half the time. And the server for the website crashes or undergoes maintenance only when I need to be on it. There are other things, but I don’t wanna delve back into yesterday’s mood too much.

Yesterday had it’s saving graces, though.

For one, I scored this handsome little devil at Belle Starr Antiques thanks to a head’s up from Miss Betty and Teacher Sis.

Gnome

Isn’t he great?

Best two dollars I ever spent. All thanks to my welcoming lady and the best sister a righteous dude could ask for.

At some point, I found myself at Walmart with T.S. and I somehow got talked into buying a can of clearance paint for to paint my front room.

I’ve spent the last few days emptying that fucking room so as to paint it. And yesterday, having just acquired a can of paint, I did just that. What was once purple/grey is now deliciously brown.

I plan on vacuuming and moving the appropriate furniture in there today. I will have my sanctuary back soon.

Tonight, is roller derby. It is the last home game of the season and it is T.S. and Janie J’s last home game ever (they are both retiring at the end of the season). So, that’s where I’ll be tonight.

Where will you be?

See ya’ on Monday.

More soon. ~SC
