Running That Game.

That Monday game.

I kicked Monday right in the nads.

I went nonstop from the time I got up until I sat down at 7:45am to drink a cup of coffee and finish reading “Career of Evil”. What?! I only had 30 pages left.

Let me just say that it is the best thing JK Rowling has ever written. So far.

After I finished the book, I headed to work. And I proceeded to rock it. Hard. In the nads.

But for real, though. I worked the shit out of my work day. I finally finished around 5:30pm having successfully done most of my week’s work. Yeah. The work. For the week. Did it.

I also listened to a lot of Run the Jewels radio on Pandora. And this dude keeps popping up and making me laugh and awestruck at his skills. His name is Lil’ Dicky and he’s brilliant.

I want you to grasp the fullness of his awesomeness, so watch this:

I have a lot of respect for the dude. That whole video is kind of inspirational to me. The whole “Why Not?” attitude paying off. He just asked a bunch of people to help him make an epic rap music video and a lot of them did. That’s awesome. It’s so much more than a silly rap song and video. Granted, the song is good and hilarious, but the underlying shit is where it’s at.

Everything is just feeding into my whole “stone in the stream” thing right now. Calculated risks. Listening to the world around you. And taking that chance. One day I’ll get to hang out with Sarah Silverman.

All I’m saying.

We’ll wear overalls together.

Today is Tuesday. I don’t even know what I’m gonna do today.

I’ll tell ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
