And the river.

I’d like to begin by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Nicky the Cook. Just think, we’ve known each other for 20 years. Here’s to 20 more old man. Be sure to wish him a happy one as well.

Yesterday was a long day.

A very full, long day.

A good deal of my time was spent filling up today’s and tomorrow’s schedule with things to do.

I’m booked pretty solid until Thursday at around noon.

What’s that thing I don’t do?

Oh, yeah. Fuck around.

In addition to my normal workload, I got in a little studio time yesterday as well.

I printed the Pen Pals Poster. All done. It’s drying now. They didn’t turn out quite as I had intended, but that’s the nature of the beast. Sometimes you eat the bear. Sometimes the bear eats you.

I also trimmed up the cards that will accompany the “You Are Home To Me.” envelopes. Wanna see them together? Okay.

Be warned. You might vomit at how syrupy cute this is.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Envelope and Card

Yeah. That just happened.

After that happened, I went to tutoring. And made some enchiladas. I also worked on a playlist for Jitterbug. The stereo is busted in the massage therapy center, so we have to provide our own music. She is sick of shouldering the burden of the playlist. So, I’m making one. It’s all Slayer b-sides.

Then, I went to meditation. I was really good. There’s something nice about sitting still and breathing in silence for an hour.

Today I am going to start riveting and packing and labeling all of the posters that are about to go out. I’m still debating on whether to print a holiday card. I probably will. But what should it say? I’m leaning towards “Happy Grismas or Whatever”. I might substitute in Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, and Holidays just to make sure I cover all of my bases. So, yeah. I’m actually debating printing zero or five holiday cards.

Story of my life.

Another goal for this week is to begin the ball rolling on grad school. It’s time I got more degrees. I’ve got to beat Teacher Sis at this whole college thing, after all.

Okay. Shuddup.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
