Today’s song is very dear to my heart. But not as dear as it is to Dave’s. I used to set it to fade in, all the way until it reached max volume, and then play on repeat until he got up to turn it off. That’s how I woke him up everyday for a very long time, back when we lived to together.

Today’s song is “Robot Parade” by They Might Be Giants. It is being brought to you today, of course, by Dave.

In honor of those days, I woke up to it this morning. I hope you are waking up to it now.

Yesterday was another crazy day.

I called it. Two for two.

Thursday was nuts. Friday was nuts.

I’m spending the day with my family, who are all nuts, today so I’m calling it now. Three for three on the crazy days.

No idea what I’ll be getting up to tonight. Probably attempting to recover from the mayhem.

Tomorrow is a me day. I’m resting. I doubt I’ll get out of sweatpants. Even for the Daily Photo. If I need to wear something else, it’ll just have to go on over the sweats. Fuck it. I’m exhausted. And this day is just starting.

Bring on the tacos.
