You’ll see it everywhere.
Today’s song is “Mexico” by Cake. It is being brought to you today by the Man with the Plan.
Yesterday was a productive day. I had almost all my chores done by noon. Which left me free to take the Daily Photo…
Get it? I was bringing the funk. Bringing it with me in my suitcase.
Oh never mind.
After I shot the photo, I set about working on planning photoshoots. I have most of them planned until the 19th. Then, I hit a brick wall. Occasionally, I get stumped and have to stew on a song for a few days before I get an idea of what I’m going to do. Don Chulius and Cassattack are to blame for stranding me on the 19th. They will pay.
Not really. I just thought that that sounded like a cool thing to say.
After working on the photoshoot planning for about 2 hours, I went out hunting props and costumes for this week’s shoots.
Then, I went to my studio to transfer more type. I’m so ready for my studio to be back in working order. It dawned on me the other day that I haven’t printed in my studio since early January.
So, I got the studio to a place yesterday where I was able to set a little type and print a few little notecards.
I just wanted to set up a little type and put ink on paper.
Which I did.
I’d show you, but I want it to be a surprise.
After printing, I headed back home to eat a little dinner, take a shower, prep this post, and wind down for the night. I attempted to get in bed early, with a modicum of success.
Why the early night?
Because I have an extra brutal workout planned for this morning.
I realized that this would be the last workout that’ll fit in my fitness journal before I start a new one. So, I decided to finish the way I started and do, roughly, the same workout that I wrote down for day one.
All I have written down is “Monk/Ranger” because this was back in the early stages of Core 5 Fitness when we called the workout by whatever character class we were emphasizing. So, I reached out to the Blacksmith and asked if he had any of the old workouts still around. He didn’t have ready access to them, so he made me a new one. Because he’s awesome. He calls it “Year of the Monkey”.
It looks gnarly.
I will probably die.
Well, there’s no point putting it off. I’m outta here. Off to face my destiny.
Wish me luck. If you haven’t heard from me by noon today, somebody should check the Forge because I will probably have left my body behind and headed off to Stovokor.
I expect a lot of this to ensue if that happens.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
