Switching Lanes.

And shifting gears.

I’d like to begin this morning by wishing a very Happy Birthday to the Man With the Plan. Be sure to wish him one as well.

So, today’s song needs no introduction. If you don’t know it, you’d better learn quick. Or we can’t be friends any more.

Yeah. So, there’s my favorite Tom Waits’ song for ya’. I picked it. Duh.

Alas, no one I know in the area has a mule that is readily available to hook to a plow for me to get behind today. And if there is, well it’s a little fucking late for me to be hearing about it.

So, I have other plans for today’s photo.

And it may or may not involve me painting, with spray paint and stencils, the phrase “Bad News, Kathy” on the side of my green Army rucksack.

Looks like not. Apparently my rucksack has dry rotted.

I ordered a new one. Which is better than this one.

Way better.

Yesterday was exhausting.

Really fucking exhausting.

I started the day tired from a restless night of sleep.

Then, I did all the push-ups. Then I did some more push-ups.

After that, I worked all day.

Then, I got the bright idea to take the Daily Photo with me working in the garden. And I had to make it look like I was really working…

"Workin' Man Blues"

“Workin’ Man Blues”

So I started carving rows, with a hoe, for my plants to grow. A little poem.

It was hot. And I sweat a lot.

So, needless to say I was even more tired.

So dumb.

I crashed early. Duh.

Because I knew that I’d sitting here, stupid early, making this post for you.

That’s what love is.

Speaking of weird shit, I saw this trailer at some point when I was “resting” yesterday…

It looks insane and amazing.

Also, new Aesop Rock video…

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
