Just as soon as the Prime Minister gives God permission to do so.

Props to Zaxxon for inspiring the title of the post.

I’d like to begin this morning by wishing a belated Happy Birthday to Lucky Charm (yesterday) and a current Happy Birthday to IZA (today). Be sure to wish them one as well.

Today’s theme is: Outdoors.

I got this great photo yesterday of everybody from the workshop I was at on Friday…

What a weekend.

I tried to hide from people.

But they came to find me.

Little Miss Cotton came to the studio Saturday morning to print her block of linoleum that she had carved her vagina on. She calls the series her “Pussy Prints”. They’re pretty amazing.

While she was printing, White Rabid joined us. I was starting to work on carving the lino blocks that I had distributed to the five artists a while back. I’ve got two back, so I figured I’d started on carving.

At some point LMC finished and went home and WR and I took a break from working to eat carnitas nachos. Probably one of my greatest creations.

Then we went to the Home Depot to buy a DremelĀ® because some of the line work on one of the lino blocks was proving too fine for my knives.

Then she split to hang with friends and I read for a while with Kingston…

Then, Barney came by to bring me the chocolate cake she promised she’d bring me. And we ended up staying up way past my bedtime catching up and laughing about being horrible people.

I ate the aforementioned cake periodically throughout the day on Sunday because it was so fucking rich and amazing…

September 10

I spent most of the day puttering.

Today is Monday. Today and the following two Mondays are going to be crazy. I’ve got work-work in the mornings and then I’ve got to hit the road. I’ve got beekeeping class!

It’ll run late on Monday nights, so no post on Tuesdays for the next few weeks.

Now, I’d better get to it.

Wish me luck!!!

See ya’ on Wednesday.

More soon. ~SC
