To make art.

You can’t see the quotation marks around the word art, but they’re there. They are called “air quotes”.

Yesterday was another bonkers busy day.

But coddamn if I didn’t kick the shit out of my list.

Of course, by the time I got home it was 60 degrees Fahrenheit in the house and I had been going non stop, so it was really difficult to not just go to bed…

But alas, I did not.

Instead I went to the opening of the Bastion Gallery downtown. Nearly the entire show was comprised of friends of mine’s work, so I had to go show my support for them. For about ten minutes. Until the crowd overwhelmed me and I went home to put my sweatpants on.

The art was fantastic.

I am so very proud of my friends.

And that got me thinking. I need to make some art. But I’m not talented enough to make work on the level of my friends.

That’s when I found this video and the lightbulb clicked on…

I’m gonna make so much art.

Art with the “air quotes” again.

Today might be Bee Day. Or it might just be a regular-ass Wednesday. Time will tell.

If my bee’s end up not showing up, I might go ahead and go up the hill for work today.

If they do show up, I’ll go up later this week.

Right now, I gotta go drink some coffee.
