Encierra a tus hijas.
Porque mi miel es más dulce.
Si sabes a lo que me refiero.
(Levanta y baja mi cejas rápidamente.)
I’d like to begin this morning by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Patty Pooh. Feel free to wish her one as well.
Sad news, my friends.
One of my queens died.
Which means if I can’t find a replacement quickly, the hive will all die. And it’s not looking good so far.
I went by to check on them yesterday since they were kinda puny the day before. The workers had skipped the whole “lying in state” thing with her body and had unceremoniously dumped her on the ground. Off to the side of the hive. They didn’t even give her the courtesy of using the front door.
As predicted, it was a long day.
It got way more complicated than I had intended. Which is how my life works.
I should’ve expected it.
So, there wasn’t much sunlight left by the time I got home.
I kept hearing this tiny voice saying something. I finally figured out it was my watch…
“What’s that Mickey? Yeah. You’re right. It is quittin’ time.”
I scarfed some frozen chicken tikka masala and then worked on little things around the house.
Since I lied straight to your face on Monday morning, I’m not going to this morning.
I’m actually going to workout and not back to bed.
Today I have a few errands and then I’ve got go back up the hill for work. Because I didn’t think to do my stuff up there when I went up on Monday.
All right. I’m gonna get to it.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
