You Are the Regrets.

Of all the Earth.

I am starting to forget what a day off feels like.

Like forgetting the exact color of an ex-girlfriend’s eyes.

Or the sound of your grandmother’s laugh.

Time distorts all things.

But you know what?

I really don’t care.

I’m in a pretty amazing place in my life.

I’d go so far as to say I’m pretty content.

Fuck being happy. Happy is fleeting and fickle.

Contentment is where it’s at.

I spent my weekend talking to good people, eating good food, and reading the second volume of Steve Lichman…

Saturday, July 28

Since I started tracking my exercise and sleep and whatnot, I have been fascinated to learn how much I do. The spark behind this was me feeling like a lazy bum because I read so many comics. So I wanted some data proving or disproving that.

And I got it.

I had almost met my goals set for me by the Apple Watch that I’m borrowing yesterday afternoon. But I needed a little bit of exercise. So I went for a three mile run…

Sunday, July 29

That closed out my goals for the week and allowed me to see just how much work I had done in addition to comic reading.

Last week, from Monday to Sunday, I actively burned 5,546 Calories, I took 103,798 steps, which amounted to 54.07 miles, and was active for 6 hours 34 minutes.

That is fucking crazy talk.

Now that I have that data, the logical thing is to try to improve the numbers, right?

I’m also thinking that I’ll learn to speak Klingon on DuoLingo.

I’ve got a long week ahead of me.

I should probably get some water and peanut butter in my stomach before workout. You can’t throw it up if you don’t eat it.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC

I had to laugh yesterday when I looked at my phone and it reminded me that I had a Klingon lesson ready to go.
