When you grow up.

I’d like to begin by wishing a tardy Happy Birthday to King and an on time Happy Birthday to Mami and Fritschie the Kid. Be sure to wish all of them a happy one today as well.

I didn’t make a post yesterday.

I didn’t have time.

I’ve been peopling super hard all weekend.

Zaxxon came into town for our buddy’s funeral, so Jitterbug and I went out to dinner with him on Friday night.

To a real restaurant. With people.

Not just the drive-thru at El Super Taco.

Then we hit the ground running yesterday morning.

We got up and around here at the house then we took the kiddos off to spend the morning elsewhere while we went to a funeral.

Where there were people.

Then Jitterbug drug me to the mall to shop for HayHay’s birthday presents.

There were so many people there.

Then we changed clothes and headed to Aldis’s baseball game.

And more people.

But I didn’t forget about celebrating Hoagie Day…

Seriously, the only alone time I had this weekend so far has been the drive from the ball fields back to the house.

Once I got home again it was time to start getting ready for family dinner.

And we start today’s celebrations a little early.

Because today is Linguini Day!

I’m hoping to get some quiet time in today when everyone is off at church and whatnot.

I’ve got comics to catch up on.

I didn’t get any read during my appointments on Friday.

And it was dumb.

Fingers crossed today is less dumb.
