They say that scent memory is the most powerful kind.

Happy Sandwich Day!

That gorgeous monstrosity is a double quarter pounder patty melt on sprouted wheat toast drowned in black bean chili. It’s my latest invention and I’m calling it ‘the Montagu’ in honor of John Montagu the father of sandwiches.

Also, it is a serious poop maker.

All will know my flatus and despair!

Yesterday we got around slowly.

It had been a long week for everybody.

Then we went out into the back yard and vented a week worth of frustrations on the world around us.

I murdered jungle and Jitterbug burned it.

We had a pretty great system going.

By the time we stopped for dinner we were wiped out.

And then time change happened and we got to actually sleep for a little while.

Today is Sunday and I am going to work on grocery shopping and prepping for my week of hustling to get clients for my new business.

But first I am going to sit and enjoy the quiet emptiness of the house while all the people are gone.
