And getting pretty good odds, too.
Yesterday was a lot of driving.
And a lot of not reading comics.
But it was busy and it wore me out.
Luckily I found this comfy couch to recover on…
It was like a caterpillar of comfort.
Today is busy, too.
But also has plenty of comic reading built into it as well.
Bless my clients who need a driver to wait on them.
They make everything better.
I’ve got work to do.
Jitterbug and I have a list that we are making of every book we read in 2020. Just so we can mark our reading progress for the year.
Last year we read a lot, but couldn’t list everything we read.
So this year we are keeping track.
So far she’s got more read than me.
Two to my one.
But to be fair, it’s day 7.
Ten years ago if you’d told anyone that I’d have already read a book a week into the year, they wouldn’t have believed you.
But I have.
I read the entire run of King City.
Now I’m about to start Batman: Year 100.
Then books 1 & 2 of Promethea, My Heroes Have Always Been Junkies, and back to My Favorite Thing Is Monsters for a while.
I’m also going to tackle John Flood.
And reread all of ISLAND and Paper Girls.
And probably Saga for good measure. I’m due a reread on that.
I’m also probably due a reread of the Matt Fraction and David Aja run of Hawkeye that I love so much, but that can wait until later in the year.
I’ve got a laundry list of stuff to get through first.
Not to mention all the stuff that I’m going to explore from my Comicbook Christmas haul.
Loads to read.
I should stop jabbering and get busy.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
