Stop Fucking Stalling.

And get your shit done-uh.

This is pretty much the pep talk we give the children every night at bedtime.

You have to say it like an overdramatic teenager.

Hence the additional “uh” on the end.

Like when parents are soooo mean-uh.

What a weird weekend.

Saturday was a blur of going and going and going.

So much baseball.

So many insane people everywhere.

I was worn the fuck out by the time we got home at 11pm…

Which is why I interacted with as few people as humanly possible on Sunday.

I weedeated, shoveled gravel, mowed, trimmed trees, and blew off the entire driveway with the leaf blower.

I had the easy job.

Jitterbug spent most of the day pressure washing the front of the house and the deck.

Fucking brutal.

That was right after she did a gnarly upper body workout.

Sunday is my rest day.

I only did 18,157 steps for 9.7 miles.

Such a chill day.

I’m not even being sarcastic.

Compared to my weekdays, Sunday really is my rest day.

I’m at 240,155 steps for 135.7 miles for the month.

Right on schedule to break 300 miles again for the month.

Anyway, after resting most of the day, I finally sat down.

Which was a mistake…

I’m like a human equivalent of a shark.

But on land.

And less intimidating.

And who can’t regrow teeth.

So I’m just a person that’s not really like a shark except for the stopping moving thing.

And I’m fairly certain that sharks can stop swimming without dying.

I think that’s a myth.

I just Googled it.

Apparently there a few kinds of shark that have to keep swimming in order for their gills to filter oxygen out of the water.

But most don’t have to do that.

Even the ones that must keep swimming don’t instantly die if they stop swimming.

It’d be like if you held your breath.

So, yes.

Nothing like a shark.

I’m just tired.

Pretty much all the time.

Probably because I manage my personal resources poorly.

And I overestimate my abilities.

This post just became very depressing.

I’m just gonna go to work now.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
