Being Hungover.

From everything.

Last week was brutal.

And the weekend didn’t off much relief.

We were swamped all fucking weekend.

And when we finally had a chance to catch our breath, that’s when we had to catch up on chores and yardwork.

Add a few nights worth of restless sleep and weird dreams and you can just imagine how good my mood was by Sunday night.

Here’s me on Saturday collapsed on the floor after all baseball games and wedding stuff…

And here’s me on Sunday after peopling all weekend and then doing a lot of yardwork…

And on top of all of that, I can’t find anything to read that catches my attention.

I’m in a book hangover from “Troubled Blood”.

I’ve managed to make my through a few graphic novels, but that’s about it.

And those I had to really work at.

Part of my problem is most of my comics are on the iPad.

So I don’t get to pick what I’m going to read next based on the qualities of the physical book.

The entirety of “SAGA” and “The Killing Joke” are the same size virtually.

Read actual novels on the phone is the same.

Like it or not, part of picking what to read is about judging a book by its cover.

And thickness.

And size.

And so on.

Maybe I’ll read “The Shining”.

Or maybe I’ll read “The Girl on the Train”.

Or perhaps “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian”.

I’m probably just gonna end up staring at the Marvel trading app and listening the the audiobook of “Troubled Blood”.

Because I’m tired.

And that’s the easiest thing to do.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
