Why Not Just Make 10 Louder?

But… this one goes to 2020…

Just when we thought that this year couldn’t any crazier.

It always finds a way to surprise you.

Work was nuts yesterday.

I live in a world of dealing with things for people at the last minute.

I’m good at it.

At least I think that I am.

Yesterday tested that.

And my patience.

Like when you forget to buy wrapping paper until 3pm on Grismas eve.

I’m the guy that stands in the freezing-ass cold wind waiting to get into Walmart because they’re at capacity because it’s Grismas eve of the pandemic.

Just to buy wrapping paper.

And tape.

And scissors.

And tags, which you didn’t ask for, but I got them for good measure.

All day was last minute.

Last minute deliveries of firewood to the top of the mountain.

Last minute walking the dog.

And my personal favorite, and our reward for being such good boys and girls this year, was Grismas eve being cancelled because a member of the family tested positive for COVID.

I’m not saying whom.

Not in anyone in Lippincottonia thankfully.

But someone is sick in my family, so do me a favor and send them some good doogies.

Really as the day wore on, the more over Grismas I was.

I mean, I’m not into the holiday very much to begin with, and then the whole universe just seemed to be taking a running dump on everything this year.

And just when you think it’s done, here comes the next spray.

It’s exhausting…

I’m so over it.

2021 is gonna be awesome.

Know why?

Because 2020 set the bar pretty fucking low.

Happy Grismas or whatever.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
