For a pair of mating White Rhinos.
The word of the day is: Bungle.
[ buhng-guhl ] verb (used with object), bun·gled, bun·gling. to do clumsily and awkwardly; botch: He bungled the job. verb (used without object), bun·gled, bun·gling. to perform or work clumsily or inadequately: He is a fool who bungles consistently. noun a bungling performance. that which has been done clumsily or inadequately. |
Like walking through the bamboo forest at the house and constantly tripping over things.
A bungle in the jungle, if you will.
Yesterday was a full day of peopling.
I had little pockets of solitude mixed in, but they were brief, few, and far between.
Mostly I made a lot of food.
And ate a lot of food.
Then I fell asleep.
Today I’m resting.
And reading.
And reflecting on how my amazing my marriage is.
It’s St. Valentine’s Day, afterall.
The more I think about why Jitterbug and I get along so well, the more I realize it’s about balance.
Sure we have a firm foundation built on the three pillars of a good relationship: hard work, communication, and mutual orgasms.
But we also just compliment each other well.
Sometimes I’m the crazy one, sometimes it’s her.
Sometimes she’s the one that wants to spend all the money on fun, and sometimes I fill my shopping cart up with hundreds of dollars of comics.
Whatever the situation, we also find a way to balance it out.
And that’s pretty amazing.
I’m very grateful to have her as my best friend and partner.
Okay, now I’m going back to not talking to people and reading comics.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
